Clearly, this restaurant has no interest in catering to the rapidly growing vegan population - which is really too bad for THEM, because we wound up going to Good Intentions immediately after, and that place is nowhere near ‘fine dining,’ yet it had a 1 hour wait when we got there. And their special salad came out with all the greens still dripping with water from being rinsed. There was literally not a single substantial protein dish offered to us. In fact, the noodles were so over seasoned and over sauced we actually had to send them back. And to make matters worse, the few things we were able to order certainly weren’t anything to write home about either. Offering a fresh take on the neighborhood Italian trattoria, Piatti combines a warm, inviting atmosphere, seamless service and an immersive market experience so you can enjoy Piatti at home. The soul of the menu is our housemade pasta that we roll, cut and cook by hand everyday. For starters, how on earth does a hip 40-something chef run a restaurant in 2023 with barely ANY vegan options on the menu? It’s almost comically absurd. Established in 1987, Piatti offers finely crafted fresh Italian cuisine. The service is phenomenal… the drinks are decent… the food, however, is highly problematic. If you're looking for that faux beverly hills vibe, then check this place out. Lingr gives off speakeasy vibes in restaurant form. The staff will be accommodating if you're unsatisfied with your dishes or drinks. The menu is pretty standard for breakfast and lunch but I enjoyed the taste of The Hangar Hamburger. The bartender, Quinn who was serving us was top notch along with the drinks. Putting sprouts on everything doesn't make it pretty. They should really work on their plating and dress as well. We wound up going to another restaurant to finish dining. If you put nuts in a salad they need to be shaved or chopped. The pistachios on it were whole so they just rolled to the bottom. ![]() The second salad came out very watery with a mild bitterness. They were served with whole leaves which is just messy. We had two of their salads which were basic at best. ![]() I liked the dumplings we had, but it was not nearly enough food to feel satiated. Only one noodle dish on the menu and it was very dense and lacking in flavor. Not that they have to provide that, but it's possible to add vegan food to your menu without deviating from the inspired menu.
